Zugwai Anita Chukwu Campaign Organization has adopted and endorse Isa Ashiru and Sunday Katung candidacy in the forthcoming governorship elections.
The Campaign Organization announced the Adoption and Endorsement in a press statement by its Director General, Mr. Tim Maiyaki and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Thursday, 6th of March, 2019 as a formal declaration and confirmation of their candidate’s readiness to pursue the yearnings of her constituents, should she emerge victorious at the Saturday 9th, March 2019 polls.
According to Tim Maiyaki in the statement which read, “Having consulted widely and exhaustively with the indefatigable members of our team from the constituency, ward and down to the polling unit levels.
“And also consulted with our teaming supporters and various stakeholders within and outside our Zonkwa constituency on this subject matter, we therefore agreed to this adoption and endorsement on the following premises;
“The Young Progressive Party (YPP), being the platform upon which our candidate is seeking election into the ninth Session of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, has not fielded any governorship candidate for Kaduna State.
“Having studied the manifesto of the Isa Ashiru/Sunday Katung candidacy vis-a-vis the yearnings and aspirations of the majority of the people of Zonkwa Constituency, we are positive that it will be of immense support and importance for the realization of our legislative agenda.
“This public endorsement is intended to guide our teaming supporters on preferable electoral choices that best suite our peculiar problems within Zonkwa constituency.
“Therefore, our campaign structure comprising 10 officers for each of the five wards, 5 polling unit officers for each of the 102 polling units across Zonkwa constituency and a whopping 1,200 women vote canvassers (10 per polling unit), are therefore by this statement admonished (authorized) to campaign for the victory of the Isa Ashiru as State Governor while doing its primary role of ensuring a landslide win for our House of Assembly candidate, Zugwai Anita Chukwu.
“Finally, this press release is a formal declaration and confirmation of our candidate’s readiness to pursue the yearnings of her constituents, should she emerge victorious at the Saturday 9th, March 2019 polls.
