2020: Igwe Ufuma Optimistic of Brighter Prospects for Nigeria

The traditional ruler of Ufuma Community HRH Igwe S. Chika Uchime, Diji III of Ufuma says year 2020 holds great prospects for Nigeria.

Speaking from his palace in an interview with newsmen Igwe Uchime maintained that with hard work, commitment and love for one another Nigerians will actualize their mission and vision for 2020.

The Monarch regretted the rate of under-development in the country and called for concerted efforts and support to the government to enable it deliver on its mandate.

Igwe Uchime who is a Chartered Accountant called on the Federal Government to rehabilitate all its failed roads across the country to ensure free vehicular movement and enhanced business transactions.

He made a strong case for the government to always give priority to agriculture to ensure food security in addition to reducing poverty.

The traditional ruler of Ufuma charged various communities to use the ongoing festivities to embark on programmes that will ensure even development in their various areas.

Igwe Uchime commended Governor Willie Obiano for his people oriented programmes and policies which he noted has fastened development across the State especially in the hinterlands.
