Anambra Monarchs Laud Obiano On Security, Development Initiatives

More citizens of the State have continued to commend the effective security network of Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano.

Most of them who spoke in an interview with our correspondent in Awka, shortly after the disbursement of one hundred and eleven special purpose vehicles and other surveillance equipment for crime prevention and fighting by the Governor at the Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka.

They were of the view that Governor Obiano’s massive investment in the security of Life and Property has continued to attract investors to the State which they noted will go a long way in boosting its internally Generated Revenue.

Speaking on the development, the Traditional Ruler of Awka, Obi Gibson Nwosu maintained that Governor Obiano has through his purposeful Leadership shown that he is committed to improving the living standards of the people.

Obi Nwosu who is a Patron of Anambra State Council of Traditional Rulers also commended Governor Obiano for all his infrastructural development in Awka the State Capital, especially the street Light which he noted has improved night life in the area.

In his contribution, the Traditional Ruler of Ufuma, Igwe S. Chika Uchime who described the Launch of the Modern Security Gadgets and Vehicles by the Governor as one that will ensure adequate security of Life and Property of Ndi Anambra and called on the people to continue with their prayers and support to his administration.

The Ufuma Monarch said that Governor Obiano’s security initiative as second to none, called on Industrialists to take advantage of tight security in Anambra State to deploy part of their investments to the State for more robust business transactions.

The Monarch, who is a Chartered Accountant called on security agencies across Anambra State to reciprocate the huge investment of Governor Obiano in security to improve on their services.
