The Members of the Sokoto Diocesan Chapter of Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN) has visited the Bishop of Sokoto State, Most Reverend Matthew Hassan Kukah to express their condolences on the death of his mother.
The delegation, led by the Chairman, Mr Matthews Otalike, the CAMPAN members sympathised with the Bishop on the loss and prayed for the repose of the soul of his mother, while describing the mother as a true viture of all mothers to emulate who showed good Christian and helped the needy.
Responding, Bishop Kukah thanked CAMPAN for the show of love and concern.
He said their relief as a family was that their mother passed away peacefully yesterday morning.
Late mama Agnes Hauwa Kukah died at the age of 86.
