Ex-Convict, 2 Motorcycle Snatchers Captures by NSCDC

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command has arrested a criminal syndicate who specializes in snatching and stealing motorcycles within Kaduna metropolis in its determination to reduce incidence of theft and other criminal acts to the barest minimum.

Speaking on the feat attained by the command in the fight against criminal elements on Friday, the State Commandant, Alhaji Modu Bunu who represented by the Spokesman of the Command, Assistant Superintendent of Corps, Orndiir Terzungwe, said the three suspects including their kingpin who is an ex-convict, Nasiru Musa, were arrested at Barau Dikko Specialist Hospital with two stolen black Jincheng motorcycles and four fabricated master keys.

According to the Commandant, investigation reveals that Musa who is the leader of the gang, has confessed to have been convicted by a Magistrate Court in Zaria where he was sentenced to six months imprisonment with N30, 000 fine which he paid after serving the prison term.

“We are going to charge them to court for criminal conspiracy and theft.

“The command is calling on all law abiding citizens of the state to cooperate with the corps by reporting criminal incidence and those with tendency of causing breach of peace for appropriate actions in order to have a conducive environment” he said.

When the suspects were interviewed, they confessed that the keys are fabricated at the cost of N12, 000 each.

Nasiru Musa (aka Master) age 32years, Jibril Gambo (aka J-boy) age 21 years and Ibrahim Ismail (aka Cash) age 24years, all male were this week arrested in possession of two Jincheng motorcycles with four fabricated master keys by our operatives on routine surveillance duty within Kaduna metropolis.
