Over 5,000 Hausa Community resident in Ebonyi State has adopt, pledged their support and their vote to APC Gubernatorial candidate, Senator Sonni Ogbuoji come March 2nd 2019 general election.
Our Correspondent who was at the State reports that this took place in Abakaliki when the leadership of the community led by the Chairman, Alhaji Idris Musa visited the Liberation Campaign Organization office on courtesy call.
While addressing the leaders of the campaign organization, Alhaji Musa assured that as committed members of the party and residents of the state, they have a task to ensure that the APC takes over the government of the state in 2019 and also win the other positions in the state from the state to national assembly.
He also expressed the willingness of the body and the entire Hausa community to work in every legal and meaningful capacity for the project to succeed.
Musa assured the campaign organization that the Hausa Community and “all of us all over the state who are adults registered and are willing to vote here.
“We didn’t register in our home states and will therefore be here to cast our votes for APC and for Ogbuoji” He said.
In his response on behalf of the campaign organization, Senator Anthony Agbo, the Director General of the body commended their decision and thanked them for the strong commitment that had made the body always available at the gatherings of the party.
He said the party and the campaign body was open to welcome all Nigerians in Ebonyi and to work with them and also promised them that when in power, the government of APC in the state will have a place for all Nigerians in the state.
‘’We all know that the Igbo go everywhere, live everywhere and contribute to the affairs and development of everywhere they are in Nigeria and in the world. So we have a culture of openness to all humanity of all ‘races.
“ It gives us joy that a body like yours, the Hausa community, identifies with us and we welcome you completely and we are open to work with you and lead this state with you in 2019” Senator Agbo said.
