New Anambra CP Reads Riot Act to Criminals as he Visits Upper Iweka

The new Commissioner of Police Anambra State , Mr. John Abang has vowed to reduce all kinds of crime to barest minimum.

He stated this during his operational assessment tour to Nkpor junction in Idemili North local government area, MCC junction, Upper Iweka, Owerri Road/ Aba Park and Obodo-Ukwu Road Okpoko all in Onitsha and Ogbaru council areas.

The tour was aimed at on the spot assessment of the flash points were crimes like one chance robbery, hand bag snatching, cultism among others, are carried out in order to curtail them through effective deployment and visibility patrols that will guarantee the safety of the citizenry.

The Commissioner noted that his mission was to make Anambra State the safest place for people to do business, restore the pride of police and bequeath to the people a friendly police.

Commissioner Abang restated his readiness to work round the clock with other security agencies to get rid-off all black areas and restore confidence in all parts of the state.

According to Mr. Abang to achieve an improved intelligence gathering the citizenry should assist with credible information that will reduce some of the crimes in the areas.
