The U.S. Embassy Abuja is to hold a virtual panel discussion program to commemorate the 2021 World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.
The event will hold in collaboration with Devatop Centre for Africa Development; Women Trafficking and Child Labor Eradication Foundation (WOTCLEF); Media Coalition & Awareness to Halt Trafficking (MeCAHT); and the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
The theme of the discussion will be “Victims’ Voices Lead the Way,” and survivors of human trafficking will share their experiences and make suggestions that will lead to a more victim-centered and effective approach to combat human trafficking.
