Ambassador Gabriel Tanimu Aduda, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, has reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery and training infrastructure in the Nigerian Armed Forces.
During a recent visit to Kaduna, Aduda inspected the newly completed 100-bed Medical Interns Accommodation Facility at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital (NARH).
The facility features modern amenities, including en-suite rooms, common areas, recreational lounges, and a solar power system.
Aduda expressed satisfaction with the facility’s quality, noting that it will boost the morale and performance of healthcare professionals.
He emphasized that investing in quality living conditions empowers interns to focus on their responsibilities, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes for military personnel.
Aduda also visited the Special Operations Forces Training Ground at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Camp Kabala, where he commended the personnel’s discipline and operational readiness.
The visits demonstrate the Ministry’s strategic vision to strengthen operational capacity and enhance military personnel’s welfare through infrastructure and human capital investment.
