AANI 45th AGM: Badaru Highlights Role of Policy Makers in National Development

The Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, officially opened the 45th Annual General Meeting of the Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI) at the NIPSS Main Auditorium in Kuru, Jos.

The event, themed “Towards a New Nigeria,” brought together prominent figures from various sectors.

Badaru highlighted the military’s progress in combating insecurity across the nation, noting significant strides in dismantling terrorist and bandit cells.

He urged AANI to enhance its advocacy efforts and support for national security reforms, emphasizing the importance of collective expertise in building a united, secure, and prosperous Nigeria.

The Minister expressed gratitude to the AANI Executive Committee for their commitment to national service and called upon members to reaffirm their dedication to the Association’s ideals.

The Minister’s remarks emphasized the crucial role of policymakers and security experts in fostering sustainable national development. He encouraged AANI members to collaborate towards building a better society and a brighter future for Nigeria.
