Aftermath of Kano Market Fire: Ganduje Pledges Support, Calls for Relief Efforts

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has expressed deep sorrow and sympathy to traders and residents affected by the recent fire outbreak at the Farm Centre GSM Market in Kano State.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja and signed by
Edwin Olofu, the Chief Press Secretary to the APC National Chairman, Ganduje described the incident as a devastating loss to the economic fabric of Kano State and Nigeria.

He commended the swift response of emergency responders, including the Kano State Fire Service and security agencies, and called on relevant agencies to determine the cause of the fire and provide immediate relief and long-term support to affected victims.

The APC National Chairman also urged individuals and organizations to extend support to the affected traders.

Ganjude reiterated his commitment to the welfare of Kano State residents, especially in times of hardship, and assured that he would engage stakeholders to explore support mechanisms for recovery and rehabilitation.

He concluded by offering thoughts and prayers to the victims, wishing them strength, recovery, and restoration.
