While the dinner was held at Abuja which was attended by Alhaji Ahmad Bola Tinubu, APC Presidential candidate has attended the wedding dinner of the daughter of Distinguished Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
Al-Makura is the immediate past Governor of Nasarawa State.
The wedding was between the daughter of the Senator, Hajiya Zaitun and her bridegroom, Alhaji Iman.
The wedding dinner was held at the International Conference Center, ( ICC ) in Abuja.
The dinner also has some very important personalities that included Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State, former Speaker Yakubu Dogara, former Governor of Niger State, Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu, Senator Ndoma Egba, former Chief of Army Staff, retired Lieutenant General Abdurahman Danbazau, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, Honourable Silas Agarra, Senator Godiya Akwashiki, Professor Mainoma, Alhaji Ali Al-Makura, Honourable Abubakar Nalaraba, Honourable Kigbu, Honourable Aliyu Wadada, Honourable Imran Jibrin, Honourable Muhammad Sarki Tancy, Mr. Sonny Agassi and many others.
The females roll call includes Hajiya Maryam Abacha, Dr Bola Shagaya, Senator Aisha Binani, Hajiya Maryam Abubakar Mamu, wife of Governor of Nasarawa State, Hajiya Farida Sule, and many dignataries.
Similarly, the Paramount Chief – Sangarin – of Kwandare Chiefdom in Lafia, capital of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Ahmadu Al-Makura said at the wedding ceremony of Alhaji Iman and Hajiya Zaitun, daughter of Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, who is the immediate past Governor of Nasarawa State.
The wedding Fatiha was witnessed by many dignitaries including the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Dauda Bage ( rtd ), Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, former Governor of Bauchi, Alhaji Ahmad Adamu Muazu, Businessman Alhaji Barau Mangal and many others from far and near.
