As All Progressives Congress (APC) embarks on renewing its membership data across the country ahead 2023, Governor Nasiru ElRufai and Senator Uba Sani have renewed their membership of the ruling party at their respective wards in Kaduna with Uba Sani assuring Nigerians that APC remained their first choice party.

Governor Nasiru ElRufai was accompanied by Uba Sani and top aids as he underwent the revalidation exercise at his Ungwan Sarki Ward amidst party loyalists and supporters who chanted praises of the Governor.

Uba Sani declared that APC remained first choice for Nigerians at state and federal level ahead 2023, scoring his party high for many positives changes he said had been achieved from 2015.

The senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone disclosed this as he renewed membership registration at his Kawo Ward.

He mentioned that Governor elRufai had given Kaduna a complete facelift, making the Capital of the defunct Northern Region the envy of her peers, adding that the Governor was the best thing that had happened to the state.

“If the governor could achieve all these despite security challenges, I wonder what he would have achieved in normal circumstances.

“The state metropolis has practically been turned into a massive construction site where groundbreaking modernization projects are taking place non-stop, uplifting the outlook and social status of the state capital.

“His urban renewal strides are not just limited to the state’s capital but extended to all important towns in three Senatorial zones in the state.

“He has been able to curtail prevailing security challenges that have bedevilled the north west geopolitical zone which Kaduna falls into, reducing crime rate to the barest level.

“He is the earliest governor to have initiated and promoted open governance, ensuring that the populace are carried along in budgetary processes in order to prioritize their immediate needs in various aspects of governance” he said.

He expressed optimism at the large turn out of new members intending to join APC, saying it was an indication that the party would win at the next poll.

He debunked reports in some quarters about division in his party, insisting that there was no crisis in Kaduna APC, stating that the party would carry new and existing members along and afford them opportunities to aspire for elective positions ahead 2023.
