As Nigeria continued to prepare for 2023 general elections, the Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Dayo Isreal has inaugurated members of the APC Youth Taskforce and Revalidation of APC Support Groups to deliver APC candidate contesting political positions in the party.
The Youth Leader while inaugurating them on Wednesday at APC Secretariat Abuja enjoined the taskforce to deploy technology-driven system to attract support in the general elections.
He explained that to streamline the submission process and enable easy access, sorting, and verification, interested groups would be able to register digitally and submit all relevant documents and information required for the revalidation exercise from the comfort of their homes at www.youngprogessives.ng/supportgroups.
“This way, groups across the country can participate in the process virtually, thus avoiding the additional burden or cost of facilitating the logistics of physical movement of personnel and sensitive data”.
“As we are going to the 2023 polls from the standpoint of a winner. We are sure that with the support of the over 120 million Nigerian youth and students in addition to other votes that comes from other angle, the traders, bankers, educators, politicians and so on, the victory is certain for our Presidential candidate Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and every other flag bearers representing our party at different levels.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, one of the values I place on this office as the National Youth Leader and the Head of the Youth Wing of our great party is the idea of inclusiveness. I want the young men and women in faraway grassroots level to have the same voice, structure and give the same level of support as those who are in Abuja.
“To ensure our success and ensure a proper structure for all the youth and students support groups is put in place, I have assembled these respected voices
and party loyalists as members of APC Youth Wing National Special Task Force on Revalidation and Registration of APC Youth led and Youth focused support groups.
“This taskforce has been mandated to coordinate the registration and revalidation exercise of All youth/student focused and youth led support groups into a recognizable structure strongly aligned with the objectives and strategic imperatives of the National Working Committee, under the distinguished leadership of H.E. Senator Adamu Abdullahi” he said.
