The former Minister of Transportation, Mr Chibuike Amaechi, Lagos State Governor, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and other 2023 presidential aspirants have stormed the ruling All Progressive Congress screening exercise ground to defend themselves why they are the right choice for the position of the Nigeria President.
The screening exercise which constitute a seven-man Committee is been chaired by a former National Chairman of the Party, Chief John Odigie Oyegun in Abuja.
Speaking with journalists after the exercise, the youngest presidential aspirant under the platform of APC, Nicholas Felix has described the candidature of the former vice president Atiku Abubakar, the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) as a work over for APC
In an interview with, Pastor Tunde Bakare shortly after his screening told Journalists that PDP is a dead party and it’s nothing to fear.
“I have appeared before the screening committee and I am very confident in the race and said to them that I will assemble the best, brightest and fittest from within the country, North, East, South, outside the country. The time has come for us to raise the foundation for many generations, to restore the path of greatness and to ensure that our nation soars again.
The former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in company of Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu have also arrived at the venue waiting to be screened
Provided they all scale through the screening exercise, the 25 aspirants will be slogging it out with each other at the Eagles Square on the 6th to 8th June, to determine who becomes the party’s flagbearer.
