The Ministry of Defence recently hosted two significant delegations at the residence of Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, in celebration of the successful and peaceful completion of the Eid el-Kabeer festivities.
Led by Chairman Alhaji Ali Zarada Gagarawa, the forum expressed support for the Minister’s efforts to enhance national security and offered prayers for divine guidance and success. Notable attendees included:
– Alhaji Aminu Sani Gumel, Chairman of the APC in Jigawa State
– Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Jallo, Member representing Hadejia in the Jigawa State House of Assembly
– Hon. Ahmed Rufai, former Chairman of Gumel Local Government
Dutse Emirate Traders Association delegation, led by Alhaji Yahaya Rungumau, commended the Minister for his efforts to strengthen security across Nigeria, creating a conducive environment for trade and commerce.
They acknowledged the positive impact of the Minister’s initiatives on the nation’s economy.
The Minister expressed gratitude to both delegations for their support and reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing national security and promoting economic growth.
This gesture underscores his dedication to his role, as evident in his recent attendance at the 65th Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), where he urged investment in defence industries.
