Christians have been charged to use their individual destinies to work out their salvation.
The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor who made the call at the Cathedral Church of Saint John Ekwulobia during the rededication of members of the laity Council of Aguata Diocese maintained that God has blessed his people with various destinies and charged them to use such destinies in serving him and humanity.
Bishop Ezeofor who is also the National Chairman of the Evangelical fellowship in the Anglican Communion (EFAC) Nigeria reminded the laity of the need to take active part in evangelism, even as he called on Christians to always give good testimonies about Jesus Christ where ever they found themselves.
The Bishop, who regretted the high cost of living in Nigeria, called on the Federal Government to map out far reaching measures that will improve the living standards of the people.
Bishop Ezeofor stressed the need for the government to introduce commodity board that will check the high cost of food stuff in the country for enhanced living standards of the people.
The service which was attended by the President of Aguata Diocesan Women’s Ministry, Mrs. Chinyere Ezeofor featured special prayer for the Leadership of the Country and thanksgiving by the members of the Laity Council.
