The Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi Sule had expressed his gratitude to God for sparing Nigeria from the ravaging cases of COVID-19 as experienced in other countries.

Governor Sule made the stated this in his Sallah message on Tuesday in his home town in Nasarawa State, while wishing all muslims happy Eid-el-Kabir.

According to him, the Sallah celebration is coming at a very critical moment, a period where Nigerians are facing security challenges, economic challenges as well as health challenges and as we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has not completely gone away.

Governor Sule urged Nigerians to pray for the leaders at all levels in the challenging moments in the country.

“From what we are seeing from other nations, the third wave is sweeping across some of these nations.”

“We are very grateful and thankful to the Almighty Allah that our own situation is not as bad as we have seen in other nations.
But that doesn’t mean that we should also relax, we must channel all our efforts to ensure that we protect ourselves and protect other people” Gov Sule stressed.

He therefore called on all and sundry to continue to pray for our leaders, starting with our president, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, all our governors, all our leaders on various stages and of course our nation and it’s people.

“And we pray that the Almighty Allah will continue to protect us, guide us, to bless us and to give us all the wisdom so that we can overcome all the challenges that we face in Nasarawa State and in Nigeria at large, he added
