The Kaduna All Progressive Congress (APC) in a swift action has advised all members of the party, including the public to disregard any other groups parading themselves as officials of the party.

The Acting Secretary of the party, Mallam Yahaya Baba Pate started this in a press conference held at its state secretariat situated at Alkali road, saying the party has concluded arrangement for the next Local Government Election.

Mallam Pate said the reason for the press conference was to enlighten the public that they should disregard the groups that are parading themselves as APC officials, saying the National body of the party only recognizes the Governor El- Rufai led APC.

He also explained the reasons for expelling the 32 party members.

According to him, “We expelled the 32 party members, because they took the party to court.

“This is a clear violation of the Party Constitution.

“The other elected party members have been suspended in line with the Party Constitution, as only the National Headquarters can expel them.” Yahaya Pate.

“The factions include the restoration APC, led by Alhaji Tijjani Ramallan and Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, the APC Akida led by Senator Shehu Sani, the chief of staff to the Senate President, Dr. Hakeem Ahmed and the APC Government house led by the governor and its deputy” he added.

The party, therefore, describe that the purported suspension of  El-Rufai as laughable and should be disregarded by well-meaning Nigerians.

Pate said, the ‘so-called’ chairman of the faction, Danladi Wada is an importer, adding that such person lacks the power to suspend any member of the party not to talk of the Governor.

He said, “the authentic chairman of the party is Alhaji Shuaibu Idris. He is the chairman recognised by the national leadership of the party. Just last week, he received an invitation letter from the national secretariat, signed by the National Chairman, Chief Odigie Oyegun, inviting him to National Executive Committee meeting next week.

The meeting however adopted the recommendations of the State Working Committee on the local government elections and commended the ongoing registration of party members throughout the state.

This was also as the party said, sales of forms for the party primaries ahead of the Kaduna State local government elections slated for May 12, will commence this week.
