29 contractors handling jobs in the ongoing Estates for the resettlement of Izzo and Amaeze autonomous communities in Ishielu Local Government Area of the state of Ebonyi State has blacklisted by the State Government

The contractors were blacklisted for unsatisfactory performance and barred them from executing further jobs in the state.
The State Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Engr. Jude Chikadibia Okpor, disclosed this while briefing Journalists on the outcome of the state executive council meeting held on Monday in Abakaliki.
“Council considered the report on the performance of different contractors handling jobs in the ongoing Estates for the resettlement of Izzo and Amaeze autonomous communities in Ishielu Local Government Area.
“Council approved the blacklisting of 29 contractors for unsatisfactory performance and barred them from executing further jobs in the state”.
The commissioner also said that the government is working on the resettlement of Displaced Persons from the proposed ICT university site in the Izzi council area of the state.
“Council approved a memo on the resettlement of families displaced following government acquisition of the site for the establishment of Information Communication Technology (ICT) University at Oferekpe Agbaja in Izzi Local Government Area.
“Council directed the Commissioner for Tertiary Education to prepare and submit to Council a detailed proposal for consideration in subsequent Council Meetings.
