As part of the preparations for the nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), the Electoral Institute in collaboration with ICT and Voter Registration departments have organised a physical ToT for State Training Officers (STOs) and HQTRS/TEI trainers as a follow up to the earlier one held Zoom Demonstration/ presentation of the IVED.
The objective of the Training was to physically demonstrate the IVED technology hands on and to conduct physical simulation using the IVED Machine to ensure seamless, efficient and effective Cascade Training at the State
and LGA Levels.
This is to enable trainers to be acquainted with the operations of the device and also understand the updated processes and procedures of the CVR.
Declaring the ToT open, The Chairman of BEI, NC, malam Mohammed Kudu Haruna enjoined participants to give the training the seriousness it deserves to ensure an effective cascade training of Registration Officers at State and LGA levels.
The DG TEI, in his welcome address urged trainers to pay attention to the training especially the practical simulation using the IVED and interrogate issues on the processes and procedures of the CVR.
