The Minister of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar has extended warm congratulations and best wishes to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic of Greece, His Excellency, Giorgos Gerapetritis on the occasion of their country’s Independence Day Anniversary.
The Minister in a press statement made available to newsmen by Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, the MFA Spokesperson on Tuesday in Abuja Informed that Nigeria recognize the rich history, culture, and enduring democratic values that define the Hellenic Republic.
According to the statement, Nigeria values the cordial relations between our two countries and remains committed to strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade, maritime security, tourism, and cultural exchange.
It looked forward to deepening its partnership with Greece in the spirit of friendship and shared prosperity.
To this end, Nigeria congratulated the Hellenic Republic of Greece on this joyous occasion and wished its government and people continued peace, progress, and success.
