The troops of 1 Brigade Nigerian Army has embarked on sanitation exercise at Mabera, along Kanti Shani, Central Motor Park and along Hajia Alima road both in Sokoto State Metropolis respectively as part of activities marking this year’s Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL).
According to the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Major Clement Abiade in a statement and made available to newsmen in Kaduna said the exercise aimed at strengthening the long established civil military relations and demonstration of the Nigerian Army’s subjection to civil authority in the State.
Some residents of the areas who witnessed the sanitation were delighted when they see massive turnout of Military troops of the Nigerian Army in their effort to clean their community of waste dumps expressed their appreciation.
