IPAC gets new leadership in Ebonyi

Yusuf Dantalle, the National Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has called on the Ebonyi State chapter to use their office to deepen democracy at the grassroots for the development of the state.
Yusuf Dantalle spoke in Abakaliki Thursday during the election of the IPAC Ebonyi chapter.
9 new executives were elected by 17 political parties to fill its council positions for the next two years.
The election took place at the Independent National Electoral Commission Headquarters in Abakaliki the capital of Ebonyi State.
Dantalle advised the new executive led by Enerst Nwaeze to lead with love for one another.
He said IPAC is meant to exist at the national, state, and local government level and urged Mr Nwaeze the new chairman to work hard and inaugurate IPAC at the local government level in the state.
“Political parties contribute to the department of the country your executive should work online with the IPAC Code of Conduct. “
The State Commissioner for Inter-party Affairs, Mr Ogbonna Okorie urged the newly elected exco to work in consonance with the Ebonyi State Government to maintain the already existing relationship.
Adding that the political parties should remain united.
Comrade Sunday Nwambam the Special Assistant to the Governor on inter-party affairs thanked IPAC for the maturity they exhibited during the election.
He urged them to support the programs and policies of the state government as the government is open for the entire Ebonyi people not minding their party affiliation.
In his acceptance speech, the new IPAC state  Chairman,  Ernest Nwaeze,  promised that he would lead with the fear of God.
Nwaze thanked the Governor of the State, Mr Francis Nwifuru for giving them the enabling environment to conduct the election without interference from the State Government.
IPAC, earlier paid a courtesy visit to the Governor where they described him as a leading light in enhancing workers’ welfare.
Speaking during the courtesy visit to the Governor at the Government House, Ochoudo Centenary City, Abakaliki, the National Chairman of IPAC, Yusuf Dantalle, said Governor Nwifuru has demonstrated uncommon sportsmanship in his affairs with opposition political parties in the state.
