The Catholic Archbishop of Kaduna, His Grace, Most Rev. Matthew Man’Oso Ndagoso has donated food and non-food items worth millions naira to the people of Karamai in Kajuru Local government Area of Kaduna State.
Represented by Rev. Fr. Joshua Achir, the Coordinator DPI aka JDPC on behalf of the Priests and Lay Faithful of Archdiocese of Kaduna, Bishop Ndagoso on Friday, 8th of March, 2019 commiserated with the people and thank them for keeping the peace since they were attacked eight days ago.
His Grace explained that donation of materials was to cushion the situation they found themselves in.
In a separate remarks, the Parish Priest of Gadinaji whose outstation is Karamai Rev. Fr. Hussaini Daboh, the Dakachi of Karamai thanked the kind gesture of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kaduna.
Also in their comments, the representatives of the women and youth of Karamai called for calm and for God to forgive the perpetrators of wicked act which is man in humanity to man.
According to them, over 40 people were killed while 7 are still missing as at the time writing this report.
They pointed out that it was shocking to note that even after the visit of the governor to the community no relief send to them to assist them.
