The wife of Onitsha based transport mogul, Lady Pat Obiageli Okeke has called on the Anambra State Government to continue to support private school initiatives so as to galvanise potential talents in Primary and Secondary Schools.
Lady Okeke, wife of Chief G.U. Okeke and the Proprietress, Supreme Knowledge Academy said this in an interview with journalists in Onitsha on Tuesday during the opening of a magnificent three storey building owned by a legal practitioner, Barrister Emeka Anyaoha.
She stated that for society to continue to improve positively children must acquire the basic necessary background in education which she added would eventually guide them towards future endeavours.
The Proprietress called on the Anambra State Government to give education a priority if the State must be salvaged out of doldrums.
Lady Okeke disclosed that her school, Supreme Knowledge Academy Nkpor near Onitsha has continued to maintain a standard for the overall good and development of education in the State.
Earlier at the occasion which commenced with a church service presided over by a Catholic Priest, the host, Barrister Emeka Anyaoha told his audience to be positive and courageous in all their endeavours.
Barrister Anyaoha particularly urged journalists to be strong, courageous and factual in their reportage, adding that they were agents of change in every society.
Many dignitaries which include professionals, friends and relations of the host attended the event.
