Daharatu MISMAS Foundation has emphasized on the need to encourage Nigerians to always embrace the culture of peace.
The Founder, Hajiya Daharatu Ahmed Aliyu who stated this in a statement and made available to newsmen in Kaduna while commemorating the International Peace Day 2018 said one of the objectives is the promotion of peaceful co-existence, and called on all and sundry to see themselves as brother’s keeper.
With the theme: RIGHT TO PEACE ,THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHT, Hajiya Daharatu Ahmed was of the opinion that this year’s Theme is timely as everybody has right to live, most especially with one another.
According to her, no family, community or Nation develop successfully in an atmosphere of rancour.
She however commended the role of the Government at all levels, religious and traditional leaders and the society are doing towards building peace and appealed for more collaboration in achieving lasting PEACE in all ramifications.
