Air Commodore David Babalola, a consultant clinical pharmacist with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), has achieved a historic milestone by winning the 2024 Biogenerics Integrity Award for hospital pharmacists at the 97th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Emerging as the best public sector hospital pharmacist, Air Cdre Babalola’s award highlights his exceptional contributions to patient care, career achievements, innovation, research, training, philanthropy, and leadership.

Headquarters Nigerian Air Force, the Biogenerics Integrity Award, accompanied by a One million naira cash prize, is a prestigious recognition of excellence within Nigeria’s public hospital pharmacy sector.
He said Air Cdre Babalola clinched the Pfizer Excellence Award for hospital and community pharmacists.
Presented during the conference’s Closing Banquet, this honor includes a commemorative plaque, certificate, and cash prize.
His dual recognition marks a significant first: no other pharmacist from Nigeria’s Armed Forces or security agencies has achieved such a distinction in the PSN’s history of sponsored company awards spanning two decades.
Commending the outstanding feat, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, extended heartfelt congratulations to Air Cdre Babalola, describing him as a shining example of professionalism and dedication.
The CAS noted that this remarkable achievement underscores the NAF’s commitment to fostering excellence in all fields of service.
“The entire NAF family celebrates this well-deserved recognition and wishes him continued success in his career”, he added.
