NAF Launches Probe into Kaduna Incident Involving Personnel and Civilians

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has launched probation into an incident involving its personnel and some civilians on 26 February 2025, at Unguwan Gangare, Barakallahu, Kaduna State.

Air Vice Marshal Olusola Akinboyewa, the Director Public Relations and Information
Headquarters Nigerian Air Force confirmed the incident in a press statement made available to newsmen on Thursday in Abuja.

He informed that the unfortunate incident resulted in injuries to some individuals, who are currently receiving medical care at the 461 NAF Hospital.

According to Akinboyewa, a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is already underway, assuring that any personnel found culpable would face the full weight of the law in line with the commitment to justice and accountability.

He extended NAF deeply regret to the loss of a life and reached out to the family of the deceased to express its condolences and assure them of a thorough investigation and justice.

The statement urged members of the public to remain calm as NAF work diligently to ascertain the facts and ensure that appropriate actions are taken.
