The National Assembly New Media Forum (NANMF) has congratulated Mr. Rawlins Agada Emmanuel on his appointment as Clerk of the Senate, describing the elevation as a reward for years of dedicated service to the legislature.
At a brief ceremony held at the National Assembly Complex, the Forum, led by its Chairman, Mr. Clement Nwabuko, presented a congratulatory card to Mr. Emmanuel in recognition of his professionalism and commitment to public service.
Nwabuko said the appointment was “well-deserved,” adding that it reflected Emmanuel’s hard work and consistency.
“This is not just a personal milestone, but a recognition of your years of diligent service to the National Assembly. It is a proud moment for you, your colleagues, and all who have witnessed your commitment,” he stated.
He recalled Mr. Emmanuel’s supportive role during the inauguration of the Forum on May 15, 2019, when he served as Director of Information under the Omolori-led management.
“Your contributions laid the foundation for what has now become a vibrant platform for new media professionals covering the legislature. We will always value your support,” Nwabuko added, assuring the Forum’s solidarity with the new Senate Clerk.
Receiving the delegation on behalf of his principal, Mr. Mari Mohammed, Chief of Staff to the Senate Clerk, thanked the journalists for the gesture and pledged continued collaboration between the Senate management and the media. He urged members of the Forum to remain professional and uphold the ethics of journalism in their coverage.
