The National Assembly has announced the postponement of the resumption date for plenary sessions.

The directive is contained in a press statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Monday by Kamoru Ogunlana, Clerk to the National Assembly.

According to him, the new date for resumption has been revised from Tuesday, 29th April 2025, to Tuesday, 6th May 2025.

The NASS Clerk explained that the extension accommodates the participation of Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members in the Workers’ Day ceremony and allows them to attend to crucial engagements within their constituencies.

Distinguished Senators, Honourable Members, and the public are urged to take note of this update.

“We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this adjustment and appreciate your understanding,” Ogunlana stated.
