From his hometown of Fiditi in Afijio Local Government Area of Oyo State, Chief Adegbite built a reputation that travelled far beyond the boundaries of his community.
Known for his devotion to God and his quiet but firm commitment to the wellbeing of those around him, he embodied the values he preached humility, compassion, and stewardship.
His passing marks the sunset of a generation defined by tireless service to humanity.

In a statement signed by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director and Head of Media & Public Relations, the Commission expressed heartfelt condolences to the Adegbite family, praying for divine strength as they navigate what it described as an “irreplaceable loss.”
“May the Good Lord grant the family the fortitude to bear this grief,” the statement read, “and may Chief Adegbite’s gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.”
