The Flying Eagles, Nigeria’s U20 team, have been drawn into a challenging group in the 24th Africa U20 Cup of Nations, set to take place in Egypt from April 27 to May 18.
They will face Morocco, Kenya, and Tunisia in Group B, with the top teams advancing to the quarterfinals.
Group Phase Matchups
– *Group A:* Egypt (hosts), Zambia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and Tanzania
– *Group B:* Nigeria, Morocco, Kenya, and Tunisia
– *Group C:* Senegal (defending champions), Central African Republic, DR Congo, and Ghana
The top four teams will qualify for the semifinals, with the top four teams also earning a spot in the FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile later this year.
The Flying Eagles are expected to fly to Egypt soon for their final preparations before the tournament.
