NTA Benin CAMPAN Inaugural Mass: Desist from acts capable of hindering progress of others -Fr Ogbeiwe warns

The Parish Priest of Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, Urora Benin City, Reverend Father James Ogbeiwe has called on all Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN) to eschew all acts capable of hindering the progress of their fellow colleagues and neighbours.

Rev. Fr. Ogbeiwe made this known at the Inaugural Mass of the CAMPAN Television Authority, NTA Benin Zonal Network Centre Chapter and also played host to the Maiden Chapter Mass of Thanksgiving on Saint Lawrence Feast Day and attended by CAMPAN in various Media Chapters across the Archdiocese of Benin City, as well as other non Catholic Media guests from the host media station.

The Catholic Clergy affirmed that the spirit of jealousy is a vice every Christian must overcome, nothing that there was need for all CAMPAN to imbibe the virtues of generousity at all time.

According to Fr Ogbeiwe, CAMPAN members should not always insist that God must answer their prayers at all cost rather always pray for his will to be done in their lives as God knows what is best for all.

Meanwhile, the CAMPAN Benin Ag. President, Ede Agho while speaking in an interview shortly after the Chapter Mass, explained that the significance of coming out with the idea of having a Eucharistic celebration at each media chapters was to awaken the spiritual well being of CAMPAN members as well as strengthening the membership growth in the Archdiocese.

She disclosed that the Chapter Mass will be rotated within various Media Chapters in the State.

Highpoint was the blessing water and sprinkling of holy water around various section of the media house.
