NTAC’s Director-General Receives Top Honours for Leadership and Service

The Director-General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has been conferred with two prestigious titles: Doctoral and Honorary Fellowship of the Emergency Crisis and Risk Management Institute.

According to a press statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Friday by Ojo Adetoun Olubunmi, the Head, Information/Public Relations, the recognitions acknowledge his exceptional leadership, competence, and professionalism in advancing NTAC’s mission.

Under Dr. Yakub’s guidance, NTAC has deployed over 10,000 volunteers to more than 40 countries since its establishment in 1987.

– *Partnership Opportunities*: The Emergency Crisis and Risk Management Institute has proposed collaboration between both institutions, including postgraduate and PhD programs.

– *Recognition*: The awards honor Dr. Yakub’s individual achievements highlight NTAC’s vital role in contributing to national progress and resilience.

Dr. Chuks Akawo, the Director-General of the Emergency Crisis and Risk Management Institute who presented the award expressed appreciation for NTAC’s participation in a recent conference.

“We commend Dr. Yakub’s outstanding character, leadership, and commitment to serving the greater good.”

He noted that Dr. Yusuf Buba Yakub NTAC’s doors will always remain open for collaboration in areas promoting peace, safety, and sustainable development.”

Dr. Chuks Akawo affirmed that the Institute and NTAC look forward to a fruitful and long-term partnership, promoting peace, safety, and sustainable development.
