Ogbadibo Unites: Delegation Seeks Apa State, New LGAs, and Constituency Restoration

The people of Ogbadibo Local Government Area have expressed their full support for the creation of Apa State, backing the efforts of Hon. Philip Agbese, the representative of Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency.

A delegation led by Barr. John Ali Ude made this known during the ongoing constitutional review exercise by the House of Representatives Committee.

The delegation requested the reinstatement of the abolished constituency, which was merged into the current Ogbadibo State Constituency.

They also demanded the creation of two new local government areas: Orokam and Owukpa, both from the existing Ogbadibo LGA.

In their presentation, the delegation not only expressed strong support for the creation of Apa State but also made key demands aimed at enhancing representation and grassroots governance within Ogbadibo LGA.

The delegation commended Hon. Agbese for his impactful representation, describing him as a true servant of the people.

They described Hon. Agbese as a true servant of the people whose legislative actions reflect the collective aspirations of his constituency.

The delegation united stance was seen as a demonstration of growing grassroots mobilization and consensus behind constitutional reforms that promote equity, local autonomy, and improved development outcomes across Benue South.
