…Celebrates Gov. Oborevwori @ 60

The Delta State Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, has urged Christians to continuously support the growth of the Church.
The Deputy Governor who was accompanied by his wife, Catherine, made the call on Saturday at the wedding ceremony between Ogochukwu Calista and Ekene Precious at Rhema City International Reconciliation Church, Okpanam, Delta State.
He said, “Christians should continue to support the body of Christ and the growth of the Church.
“As the church is growing the children of God will be growing.”
The Deputy Governor, while congratulating the couple for resolving to spend the rest of their lives together as husband and wife, urged parents to always guide their children to engage in positive activities.
He disclosed that Hon. Ekene Precious, is the Councilor representing his Ward, Onicha-Ukwuani, Ward 5, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State
The officiating Minister, Apostle Norbeth Imala, decried situation where people rush into marriage and after few months, the marriage will collapse.
He noted that, “if a marriage must last, it must be rooted in the fear of God.
“When there is the fear of God in marriage, the marriage will survive all situations, so, always look up to God.
“When a man or woman have the fear of God, they hardly fall short of expectations.
“The more you push to God, the more you enjoy your marriage.”
Some dignitaries who accompanied Sir Onyeme to the ceremony include the Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Sir Christopher Osakwe, Secretary, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Delta State, Engr. Dan Ossai, Chief Lucky Ossai, among others.
Meanwhile, Sir Monday Onyeme and his wife, Catherine, have also felicitated with Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his 60th birthday anniversary.
Rt. Hon. Oborevwori, the Governor of Delta State, will on Monday, June 19, 2023, clock 60 years.
A statement which was personally signed by Sir Onyeme, described the governor as “a man of grace who has been given the mantle of leadership to ensure a stable and progressive Delta State.”
He said, “Happy 60th Birthday, Our Governor!
“Your Excellency, it gladdens our hearts to celebrate with you and thank the Almighty God for making it possible for you to celebrate your first birthday anniversary while in office as the Governor of our dear State, Delta.
“This Diamond jubilee anniversary of your birth is very significant; coming few days after your successful inauguration as the Governor of our dear State.
“No doubt, God has ordained you to pilot the affairs of our state as your extraordinary activities as the longest serving Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, a position that required managing lawmakers from all the constituencies of our state, speaks volumes of how God loves you.
“Your carriage, professional handling of issues relating to our state has distinguished you as a man who is prepared for governance and we are confident that Deltans who overwhelmingly spoke with their ballot papers, will have every reason to give thanks to God for bringing you as our Governor.
“As you celebrate, we wish you happy more years, blessed with wisdom, peace and good health through Christ our Lord. Amen.
