The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate in the November 8, 2025 Anambra State election, Dr. Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, on Monday stormed the party’s national secretariat in Abuja for a strategic closed-door meeting with APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda.

Though the details of the high-level talks were not disclosed, insiders suggest the meeting is part of APC’s final push to fine-tune a winning formula as it seeks to unseat incumbent Governor Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Ukachukwu, regarded as a political heavyweight with strong grassroots appeal, is expected to spearhead APC’s charge to reclaim Anambra.

His recent outreach has reportedly been winning the hearts of Anambra voters ahead of the fiercely contested poll.

The November election is shaping up as a battle royale between Soludo’s incumbency and APC’s bid to reset the political equation in the Southeast state.
