The Kaduna State Volunteer Co-ordinator of Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN), Comrade Kabir Ibrahim has reiterated PPFN’s commitment towards ensuring that all stakeholders are brought on board to attain its desired aim of promoting child spacing in Nigeria as part of its mandates to sensitize the public on Sexual Reproductive Health.

Speaking to Reportcircle in an interview on the activities of the organization, Comrade Kabir Ibrahim stressed that PPFN has continued to engage religious leaders on the benefits of child spacing for parents, the community and to the economics of the country so that they would step it down to their subjects in their various respective domains.

According to him, why the religious leaders are important in the crusade is because in the northern part of the country, religion is more considered compared to the southern part of the country where culture is more considered.

“Nothing is wrong in preaching Family Planning in the Mosques and even in the Churches.

“There is family planning in the Bible and also in the Quran”, Kabir emphasized.
