Member House of Representatives, Hon. Samaila Suleiman has joined other prominent Nigerians in mourning the loss of former deputy governor of Kaduna State, Architect Barnabas Bala Bantex who died Sunday morning following a protracted illness in Kaduna.
Hon. Samaila Suleiman who represents Kaduna North Federal Constituency of Kaduna State in a condolence message expressed shock and sadness over the passing on of the immediate deputy governor of the state, describing the deceased as a man for all who was always willing to listen to the people irrespective of their political, tribal and religious affiliations, adding that Arc. Bantex left this world at a time the State needed his wise counsels and inputs in solving overwhelming problems confronting the State.
He condoled Bantex family, people of Kaduna State and Kaduna APC family whom he noted had a seamless working relationship with the late Bantex, recalling with nostalgia how the gentleman politician drove the party to success in 2015 elections in Kaduna State.
Hon. Suleiman solicited God’s comforts and consolations for the family of the deceased, asking God to be a pillar of support for the Bantex family in their period of grief and mourning.
The legislator explained that it wouldn’t be easy overcoming the loss of Arc. Bantex and filling the vacuum he left in APC family in the State and Southern Kaduna in particular, calling on Government to immortalize the good memories of the immediate past deputy governor by dedicating and naming after him a prominent public institution.
“Our solace however, is the fact and reality that Architect Bantex lived a good life in service to people and his state in particular.
“He’s a gentleman to the core, easy going person that has a listening ear to all.
“He will be remembered as a politician who had as his primary priorities; welfare of the people, their progress, mutual unity with others and above all, peace and development of the entire people of Kaduna State.
“We pray that his transition to the next world to be peaceful, pleasant and enjoyable because he was a man of peace, ” Suleiman said.
