The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, has extended warm congratulations to the Government and people of Rwanda on the occasion of their Independence Anniversary.

Monday, the milestone marks a significant moment in Rwanda’s history, symbolizing the country’s resilience, progress, and enduring spirit.
Nigeria commended Rwanda’s remarkable socio-economic transformation, commitment to peace, and leadership in regional and global affairs under the visionary stewardship of President Paul Kagame.
The two countries, as fellow members of the African Union and the Commonwealth of Nations, value their strong bilateral relations and remain committed to deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
