The Adamawa Senator in the National Assembly, Sen. Ishaku Abbo has condoled with Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Fatima Umaru Badami.
Sen. Abbo in a statement stated that he received the sad news with shock.
Hajiya Fatima at the age of 68 died in the early hours of Wednesday at the Federal Medical Centre Yola, the state capital while undergoing treatment for a protracted illness.
“It was with the deepest sense of sorrow that I and my family learned of the demise or your mother, Hajiya Fatimah Umaru Badami.” The statement said.
He added that; “ Her demise indeed has created a vacuum not only to her immediate family but the entire Adamawa State.“She was a good woman and very well committed to her family during her lifetime.” He said.
“family, Adamawa North Senatorial District and the entire SIA Movement Worldwide to convey” their “heartfelt sympathy to the family of His Excellency Governor Umaru Fintiri and entire people of Adamawa”.
