The Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Nicholas Tofowomo has advocated for the institution of Universities of Agriculture in all the senatorial districts to create room for cattle farm to get cattle out of the streets.
Senator Tofowomo who made the call while speaking with Senate Correspondent in Abuja on Thursday affirmed that the call became imperative for agricultural revolution and to ensure adequate food supply in the nation.
He mentioned that the universitie would help to put technology in place and come up with brilliant idea that would ensure establishment of cattle farms in strategic places.
According to him, in America there are more than 7000 cattle farms.
“Universities of Agriculture in all the senatorial districts would create room for cattle farm, in order to get cattle out of the streets.

“ln America there are more than 7000 cattle farms” he stressed.
Commenting on the budget, the Ondo lawmaker opined that the 2022 budget is being scrutinized to reflect the desires of the masses.
On 2023 Election, Senator Tofowomo lamented that taking money during election is not only ruining individuals but the country at large.
He urged Nigerians to shun money elections, and identify people that can add value to the system to move the country forward.
