The Lawmaker who disclosed this in an interview with newsmen shortly after Senate plenary on Wednesday, additionally: Empowered Small Businesses*: Through skill acquisition programs, enabling entrepreneurs to succeed.

– *Promoted Youth Engagement*: By bridging the gap between education, technology, and employment.

– *Supported Education*: Registered students for higher education, provided scholarships and bursaries to over 1000 tertiary students, and lit up towns and villages with solar panels.

– *Facilitated Job Creation*: Secured federal jobs for constituents in various agencies and worked on appointments for youths in Customs and Air Force recruitment.

– *Championed Accountability*: As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Procurement, prioritizing efficiency and transparency in national projects.

Senator Ipinsagba’s commitment to his constituents’ welfare is evident in his accomplishments, which have positively impacted agriculture, education, health, and infrastructure in Ondo North Senatorial District.

“Now, within the 3 months period I got to the senate, I was able to put in place about 3 projects that I can call signatures in my own senatorial district. I look at areas of needs in my own senatorial district.

“Say for example, within the 3 months, I was able to put in place a cottage hospital which is done to the test and to the international standard in a town called Akumu in Akuku North-East local government.

“It is there for people to see, it is there for people to verify this claim. And it doesn’t stop there. It is Akuku South-West. We are able to construct about 1.5 km of roads.

“Today people are applying to the road, vehicles are moving on the road. Then, we are also able to build 28 local stores. They are there for people to see. And this was done within a period of 3 months in the office.

“Because the government is a continuous process, When we got there, we met projects that we were supposed to execute and we quickly rushed into it and we met the opportunities that we were able to convert into needs.

“Not only that, we also built a civic center as a strategist area. In Ikari Akuku, we have a civic center built. It is about to be commissioned.

“It has been completed. We have Akuku North-West in Okiag Beach. We are able to build a civic center in order where people can come together to do birthdays, to do various ceremonies, to do all sorts of activities.

“In some local governments like Kosei, we have a board there that provides solar light there. We call it Operation Light Up Uldu North-Senatorial District. Emure is another town in Uldu North-Senatorial District.
We have our hands there. We give them solar lights.

“In some areas too, where they have difficulty, where there is an epidemic, say for example Afin, particularly, is a town. When Afin was invaded with incest, my team moved in immediately.

“When we saw the need, we took the lead. We were able to bring down that epidemic into control. They were happy with us in that town today.

“Outside this, we believe in teaching people how to catch fish rather than giving out fish. We have been able to embark on so many empowerment projects in terms of training people on how to acquire skill on their own.

“The essence of doing that is to bring to a minimum size, about these people looking for white-collar jobs. The Government cannot provide jobs for everybody, but we should be able to use our hands, our senses, to do something on our own. And that is the era we have in the 21st century.

“People should be able to use their intelligence to bring out something good in themselves. When you go to the university, that university is to provide you with a developed mind. We taught people how to do cosmetic materials, painting, and how to use computers too to maximize profit.

“So we taught them all this. And it’s only teaching them, when they finish the program, we allow them to distribute computers to each of them that attended the program. And we back it up with cash too, that they should be able to go start something on their own instead of waiting for the government to come give them jobs.

“Now, it will also interest you that a bill is ongoing now. It has passed through the public hearing, whereby we want to put in place University of Information and Communication Technology in Ikari Akuku. So, that bill is alive, is flying, and by God’s grace, is going to get a good end.

,”And we’re also looking at other bills too, that will improve on the life of our people. When you combine all this together now, you will see that what we have done within a space of maybe 18 months is enormous” he explained.
