The Executive Organizer of Real Bees FC Kaduna, Alhaji Abdulazeez Mohammed has disclosed that statistically, Birinin Kebbi in Kebbi State is the only state in Nigeria that has no team in the 3 major carder of Nigerian football, such as Premier League, National League and Nationwide League 1.
Alhaji Mohammed who is representing the President of the Club, former Minister of Sports, Alhaji Saidu Samaila Sambawa stated this in an interview with newsmen at the end of its phase 1 trials of 45 players out of 200 that registered to showcase their talent at the Kaduna Township Stadium on Monday.
According to him, because of the Kebbi State problem the Real Bees is moving the National League 1 to play their matches in the State to fill in the bleak.
The Executive Organizer informed that Alhaji Sambawa wanted to see what he can do to develop football in Kebbi state which is why they are moving the nationwide leagues slot to play their matches in Kebbi.
“The team will be competing in two different division in the national league and in the nationwide leagues 1, we are contemplating of moving the league one to play their matches in Birinin Kebbi, in Kebbi State because, statically, the State is the only state today in Nigeria that has no team in the 3 major cadre of Nigerian football, such as Premier league, National league and Nationwide League 1.
“The President of the Academy is from Kebbi State, so he wants to see what he can do to develop football in the state that is why we are contemplating of moving the nationwide leagues slot to play their matches in Kebbi State.
“As part of the activities of the Academy, we decided to float a football team hence the formation of Real Bees Football Club of Kaduna.
“Real Bees got his name from the program of the Academy having time to bring up some collaboration with the famous rounder view Football of Spain and Bees which is the famous name of Kaduna football followers and that combinations brought in what is now known as Real Bees.
“Real Bees FC is one of the lovers of sports and major stakeholders in sports and wanted to contribute its own quarto to the development of football.
Speaking on the screening of the players, Alhaji Mihammed informed that those selected will be pitched against professionals in the second phase that begins this week.
He affirmed that they selected players will go through medical, saying no player will play without medical test because they will be moved into perceiving training before preparing for the season and assured complete different pattern of managing a football club.
“What you are witness on the background is the 1st phased of the program that is open screening for any interested player that wants to play for the team, we give 2 weeks for screening to come showcase their talent and if they are able to make it, good.
“We are closing the 1st phased today, and by next week, we will invite the tested players that have played in Nigerian leagues and outside the country.
“The major aim of the team is to ensure that at the end of very season, we pick some of the best players and market them to European and Asia because our partners abroad want to see medical certificate of each players to ascertain their fitness before playing so that by the time they graduating for the season, they will have no match problem.
“They will go through medicals and no player will play without medical test and after that we move into our perceiving training before preparing for the season. For now, they are the best leg we have and l wants to assured that complete different pattern of managing a football club” he ended.
