The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy (FMCIDE) hosted a presentation on the Implementation of the Electronic Content Management (ECM) system for Heads of Civil Service from 36 states and the FCT.
The Permanent Secretary, FMCIDE, Rafiu Adeladan in his address informed that the event was part of the 2025 Civil Service Week Study Tour.
According to him, ECM System presentation showcased the Ministry’s ECM system, a robust platform supporting end-to-end electronic file management and workflow automation.
He highlighted the Ministry’s digitization journey, which began in 2016 with a focus on policy files in the Registry.
The Permanent Secretary noted that the event aimed to share best practices in service reforms and enhanced productivity, acquainting participants with the rubrics involved in deploying digital and data-driven systems.
Adeladan said the presentation provided an opportunity for knowledge sharing and insights into the Ministry’s experiences with the ECM system.
The Head of Civil Service of the Federation’s representative, Dr. Deborah Odoh, expressed appreciation to the FMCIDE team for the enlightening presentation.
The event demonstrated the Ministry’s commitment to collaboration and sharing expertise with other government agencies and stakeholders.
