Borno State turned into a graveyard for terrorists on Wednesday as Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets unleashed a barrage of precision strikes that flattened a notorious insurgent enclave and wiped out scores of fighters.

The devastating raid, launched by the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI (AC OPHK), followed sharp intelligence that terrorists were massing at Bula Madibale in the Gezuwa axis.

Surveillance confirmed about 45 fighters streaming in on motorcycles and bicycles, flags defiantly hoisted at the camp to mark it as a command post and rallying point.

By 10:50 a.m., NAF warplanes swooped in with ruthless efficiency, pounding the enclave into rubble. Explosions tore through the hideout, erasing the gathering, levelling their structures, and scattering what was left of their arsenal.

Military insiders describe the strike as a “decisive kill shot” that has crippled the terrorists’ ability to regroup or threaten communities in the North East.

The NAF says the operation is a loud message that insurgents will find no sanctuary in Nigeria, as the Armed Forces push relentlessly to restore peace and stability.
