cracks were also told to stop work until necessary assessments on
building plans are completed.
Speaking to newsmen at the the scene of the incident, the Managing
Director of ACTDA, Venerable Barrister Amaechi Okwuosa blamed the collapse on the preliminary stage of the building which the agency issued a warning notice to the said developer which fell on deaf ears, thanking God that no lives were lost.
Venerable Barrister Okwuosa stated categorically that in line with the
state government law, the developer will lose the property to the State government including the land and urged developers to stop
cutting corners or employing unqualified engineers in handling such a huge investment.
