President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu have extended warm felicitations to the government and people of Bayelsa State on the occasion of the 14th Annual State Thanksgiving Service.
Delivering the message on their behalf, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, commended Governor Douye Diri for his exemplary leadership and commitment to peace and unity.
“Governor Diri is a remarkable leader and a man of peace. May God continue to bless Bayelsa State and its people,” Bishop Adegbite said.
During a courtesy visit, the NCPC boss urged the Governor to support Christian pilgrims from the state in the upcoming December pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
Governor Diri pledged to sponsor “a good number of Bayelsans” for the spiritual journey.
Bishop Adegbite was accompanied by senior NCPC officials, including Chief Weli Wosu, Chief Clement Nweke, Mr. Abu Okpanachi, Dr. Irene Uhunmwangho, Mr. Sunday Udeh, Celestine Toruka, and Pastor Stephen Adewara.
