Amina Kari, Faculty of Law and Dr. Segun Falana, Political Science & International Relations Department on behalf of Concerned UniAbuja Alumni Association, Worldwide informed that the University of Abuja Alumni Association Worldwide has expressed concerns about the character and integrity of potential candidates.

The Association has specifically called out individuals who they believe contributed to the university’s challenges in the past, including Prof Abu Mallam, Prof Umar Kasim, Dr Ugoh, and Prof Rebecca Ndana.

They question the suitability of these individuals for leadership roles, citing their involvement in controversies and alleged wrongdoing.

The Association emphasizes the importance of electing candidates with integrity, sincerity, and a commitment to the university’s values.

They urged Senate members and the congregation to reject candidates who promote divisive tendencies, lack experience, or have been convicted of misconduct.
